If you are staying at the hotel for the conference we hope that you will take advantage of the free access to the fitness centre and other facility services and amenities.
This is a friendly reminder that your conference registration does not include accommodations.
A block of rooms is reserved at Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites at a special rate of $140 for single or double occupancy. The triple and quad occupancy rate is $160. To reserve a room with the special rate, please book your room online or call 1-905-677-9900 / 1-800-445-8667. If you call to make your reservation, please remember to state that you are attending the Best Start Resource Centre Annual Conference by Health Nexus.
The special conference rate is available until January 23, 2014 (or until the room block has been sold out). Book early to avoid disappointment!
Parking
Free parking is available at the conference venue. Parking is fully automated and all conference participants will receive a yellow parking pass from the conference registration desk to use at the parking gates on their way out. Yellow tickets are valid for a single use only. If you are an overnight guest, you will be required to provide your license plate numbers upon checking in and you will receive an orange plastic card for your parking with in and out privileges. Please note that white tickets picked up from the parking gates on your way in are to be disposed of.

From Pearson International Airport:
There is a free shuttle bus from Pearson International Airport.
From Billy Bishop (Island) Airport or Union Station:
Taxis are readily available to both these arrival and departure points. You should expect to pay approximately $60 one way from the airport or train station to the hotel.

Registration is located in the main floor of Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites in the Mississauga foyer. Please see the meeting space map.

Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 7:45 am – 4:15 pm
Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Friday, February 28, 2014 from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Cancellation policy
Notification of cancellation and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing before January 10, 2014. Refunds will be subject to a $50.00 administration fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after January 10, 2014.
Conference Receipts
Please note that receipts for the conference registration will be mailed to you about two weeks after the conference.
“Take-One” Table
There will be a “take-one” table in the Foyer on all three days of the conference. If you have materials that may be of interest to other service providers, you are welcome to put them on the “take-one” table.
Exhibitor Area
Take some time to visit our exhibitors’ displays on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Recorded Sessions, Web and Social Media
As in past years, many of the presentations from the conference will be available shortly after the conference on our website. Some sessions at the conference will be videotaped, webcasted, live streamed, audio recorded, and/or photographed so service providers will have access to the content online after the event. The camera(s) will be pointed at the speaker for sessions that are videotaped or photographed. If you do not wish to be photographed, audio recorded, or appear on video you may leave the conference center. By remaining in the immediate vicinity you are giving your consent to videotape, record, photograph, live stream and/or webcast your picture, likeness, voice and statements online. You can speak to Best Start Resource Centre/Health Nexus staff if you have any questions or concerns.
