Campaign Resources
The Best Start Resource Centre has developed a number of resources for the physical activity campaign “Have a ball together!”. This campaign promotes physical activity in children 2-5 years old. Some of the campaign resources are for parents and caregivers, others are for service providers who work with families or with young children.

Resources for Parents and Care Providers:
Parent Resource Activity Cards
Laminated cards. A carabiner allows parents to attach the resource to their diaper bag, stroller, backpack etc. Each card provides parents with seasonal ideas of how to be physically active with their children. Available in French and English.
Calendar Stickers Sheet
Twenty-four stickers on a 8.5 X 11 sheet with indoor/outdoor and seasonal activities. These stickers can be placed on the family calendar to schedule plans for physical activity. The stickers do not contain any text so can be used with all cultures and languages.
Brochure Have a ball together
Brochure (8.5 x 11) is designed to provide parents with additional information about the promotion of physical activity for children aged 2-5 years. Available in English, French or a culturally adapted Aboriginal version.
Bookmark
It can be downloaded and copied. Available in French and English.

Posters (11x 17) include the campaign key messages. Available in English, French or culturally adapted Aboriginal version.

The electronic files for Best Start's physical activity campaign resources may be used free of charge, for non-commercial purposes only. If you would like to use the campaign resources that are available in electronic formats on this website, please contact Best Start. Best Start will then provide access to the appropriate high resolution graphic files.
Adapting electronic files for campaign resources
Any adaptations to campaign resources require permission from Best Start. If you are interested in making changes to campaign resources, please contact Best Start. Once the changes are approved, Best Start will then provide access to the appropriate high resolution graphic files.
