The Best Start Resource Centre provides consultations,
workshops and conferences, subject-specific information and resources.
Our clients describe our services as "credible",
"connected", "proactive" and "relevant".
According to recent evaluations, over 80% felt our services increased
their capacity to initiate or support local maternal, newborn and
child health promotion programs / projects.
In 2006-2007, Best Start staff:
 provided
144 consultations
produced 11
new resources and distributed over 458,000 resources
hosted Conferences
with 300 participants from across the province
delivered 10
regional workshops and 16 presentations
facilitated
an electronic network of over 1,000 diverse, multi-disciplinary
service providers.
